ABOUT
PRISCILLIA JORGE
Architect, Urban Designer and Decorative Painter
Priscillia Jorge is a State-certified architect, social sciences graduated, PhD in urban planning and design, and painter in heritage decor. Native from Paris and based in Arles, her practice combines technical expertise, artisanal know-how and creativity.

Experience
State-certified (DEA) and License (HMONP) architect, graduated in social sciences and a PhD in urban planning and design, Priscillia worked for several years in the field of architectural and urban project and research, in Paris and Milan, before learning mural painting.
As an architect and urban designer, she conceives spaces where aesthetics meets functionality, while respecting environmental and social issues. Her approach is driven by a constant curiosity and a will to create habitable and sustainable places, in harmony with their context. This experience allows her today to assume assistance, consulting and project management in architecture.
Through decorative painting, which she has practiced professionally since 2021, she shapes space by changing visual perception, while paying special attention to the volumes, light and atmosphere of the place. Her traditional techniques of painted decor mastery, used as in creation as in restoration projects, allows her to sublimate the built environment while combining respect for heritage and contemporary vision.
She also regularly collaborates with independent decorative painters or restoration firms recognized and qualified for Historic Monuments, such as SMBR or Atelier Jean-Loup Bouvier.
Passionate about graphic and plastic arts, she explores, together with these activities, various mediums such as drawing, graphics, ceramics or tufting ; which allows her to feed her creative process by experimenting with a wide variety of issues, scales and materials.
Skills
The acquisition of traditional painting and coating techniques allows her not only to apply them in the creation of painted decors that she designs, but also to intervene in the context of restoration/ renovation/ restitution projects of old decors, for heritage-listed buildings, and to collaborate with specialized workshops.
Co-founder of a collective of heritage painters, Priscillia works alone or, when required by the project, with a team of specialized craftsmen. This flexibility allows it to adapt its approach according to the specific needs of each sponsor, while ensuring the quality and consistency of interventions. And she regularly works on different types of projects – permanent or temporary, indoor or outdoor – throughout France and internationally.
Commitment
Aware of the ecological impact of the construction and painting sector in particular, Priscillia favours an eco-responsible approach, using in all her projects environment-friendly materials but also natural paints and solvent-free products, in order to preserve both the health of the site users and the buildings integrity.
